Urban Iki Launches Innovative Children’s Bicycle Seats

Are you ready to make memories with your little wanderers?

Japan’s market leading brand for cycling accessories and seats is Urban Iki by OGK and after having dominated the Netherlands with their innovative and minimal children’s bicycle seat, they’ve set their sights on the UK.

Urban Iki’s philosphy is to keep things simple, affordable and most of all, safe so that families can get outside and enjoy cycling. The new front and rear seat models hitting the shelves have 5-point seat belts and an easy click-and-go mount system. Other features include; integrated draining, adjustable foot straps and footrests. Both designs are available in a variety of Japanese inspired colours; Bincho Black, Shinju White, Aotake Mint Blue and Sakura Pink. Each colour inspired by the beauty and texture of Japan.

Urban Iki’s front seat

The front seat is ideal for little explorers that are eager to see the world go by with your comforting voice right next to them. The front seat is recommended for 9 months to 2 years of age and suitable for children weighing 9-15kg. Available as an optional accessory, Urban Iki designed a shockproof Windscreen that protects your child from all the nasties like sand, wind, UV rays and pollution.

The rear seat clips on to the rack anchored in place with a safety strap that attaches to the seat tube. For your convenience, the seat can be mounted with the included mounting materials in no time at all. This seat is recommended for ages 9 months to 4 years, suitable for children weighing 9-22kg.

The rear seat as standard will easily attach to any bike that has a rear pannier rack through the use of the rack mount. For those bikes without a pannier rack, there is the option of purchasing a rear seat with a frame mount that simply attaches to the seat tube.

Front Seat; RRP: £54.99
Rear Seat with Rack Mount; RRP: £64.99
